Please call to place special order.Aquatec has been providing safe bathing options for over 2 generations of users. Never stoop to lift someone out of the tub again. The Aquatec Major will rise to meet you at the top of the tub, then slowly and gently lower you into the warm bath waters. The Aquatec Major is a full-length bathlift that provides a bathing platform for youth or adult who cannot be placed in a seated position. It is also ideal for group facilities where bathers have a variety of disabilities and positioning needs. With a top capacity of 500 pounds, the Major can be used for bariatric clients.The Major is constructed of stainless steel and plastic components. The unit includes all parts necessary for basic operation, base, top platform with cover mat, hand control, water supply hose and quick disconnect fitting. The lift consists of a lifting base with 2 lifting scissors and bladders. The top panel with cover mat has 4 folding edges that will open at the top of your tub to form a solid platform for towel drying or dressing. The blue cover mat is non-latex mesh, made from blown polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is removable and machine washable.The Aquatec Major is operated with a joystick style hand control. The optional reclining back supports are also controlled from the hand control. The Major will lower to 2.75“ from the bottom of a standard tub. Aquatec offers a limited 2-year warranty on the Major to be free of manufacturer’ s defects. This warranty excludes covers.The Major can be ordered with any of 4 back support options: stationary or reclining, with or without adjustable side laterals. A seat belt can be mounted.
