Comfort-Soft Anatomic Crutches, Gray - 1 PairAnatomic crutches with soft handles Product Details: Anatomically shaped soft handles 3 adjustments in height between handle and forearm 10 adjustments in height Special screw to increase comfort = unnoisy Solid ferrule with a high diameter CE approved up to 120kg body weight General Information (Non Product Specific) Forearm crutches are walking aids where the main tube extends beyond the grip handle, or a moulded plastic part extends upwards along the body side of the lower third of the patient’s forearm. At the end there is a semi-circular cuff for receiving the forearm. The forearm fixture is slightly angled back and, together with the standard shape grip handle, it allows support that removes loading to one or both of the patient’s legs. The moulded forearm fixture prevents the crutch from buckling away when it is heavily loaded. The crutches are made of metal tubing (light metal or steel), have lightweight flexible, slip-free rubber tips and are normally height adjustable. Crutches for heavy loading are not adjustable and thus must be precisely matched to the patient’s body size by cutting to length.
